Koda

In many ways, Koda is a typical golden: he gives his heart to anyone who feeds him, and he loves to romp and play. But given his background (he spent most of his life living in a garage), there’s a lot of things about this boy that are atypical for a golden.

For starters, because he lived by himself for years, he enjoys playing by himself. He’ll come in for pets, but would really rather roll around and scratch his own back. And he has a lot of energy, which some people might find surprising given that he’s 7 years old (don’t worry, Koda, that’s not old, just mature).

Koda’s ideal adopter will love him for his quirks, and should expect him to keep his puppy energy for the rest of his life (there are worst things).

This sweet boy does well with other dogs (but not cats), and because he’s so good at self-entertaining you won’t have to quit your job to play fetch full time. All-in-all, Koda is a good dog looking for a family who won’t put him in a “typical golden'“ box. He deserves to be his individual self.
