Rusty is a 4 1/2 year old neutered male Golden Retriever.  He is pictured laying down.  He was a stray at the Animal Shelter.  Rusty had a history of being picked up as a stray there and his owner did not come for him this time.  GRRF got him out and he was adopted to one of our very best foster families that recently lost one of her goldens due to old age.  Rusty is pictured her with his new sister Sunny and she thoroughly enjoys his company.  Rusty has fit right in and even the resident cat adores him.  His new owner is extremely happy with this young boy and it is just reward for a family that has helped foster and care for some of our most special needs dogs and long term fosters.  Rusty will now have a great home and new job helping his family foster new dogs.
