Rex (Scout)

7 year old golden neutered male, very well behaved

4/26/05

Rex was a stray turned into the Animal Shelter.  He stayed his stray time and still no one came for him.  Rex was found on a busy road and had a limp on his front left foot.  At the shelter we came to visit with him and he seemed to be getting better on his foot.  Once he was available, GRRF got him out and took him to Aurora Animal Clinic and had some x-rays done and it was determined to be a soft tissue injury most likely from running.  He had a complete physical to include bloodwork, neutered, tattooed, vaccinated, and his hips were x-rayed and looked great. Rex, now named Scout, found a home very quickly with a couple that took him trial the second day we had him.  He has now been adopted and they are very happy with him.  He has excellent manners and seems in amazingly great shape and quite fit.  We are only estimating his age at about seven years young in his case.
