                     Bishop

6/15/05

Bishop is a 1yr old labrador/golden retriever cross.  He is the brother to Luke and Sam that came from Nome in March.  Amy and Cheryl our doggie saviors of Nome, emailed us that Bishop had been relinquished to the Animal Shelter there.  We arranged for a flight with the ever generous, Frontier Flying Service.  Bishop is looks more like a lab whereas Luke and Sam had long hair like their mom.  Bishop was just and nice and even tempered as his brothers.  He knew how to sit, come and we worked on down.  He had puppy strangles as a puppy and had some scaring on his nose. Everything was completely healed, he will just always have sparse hair on his nose and mouth.  Bishop came to Fairbanks and he was examined, neutered, tattooed, microchipped and his hip x-rays were great too.

Bishop had a young family waiting for him and he went on trial the day after his neuter surgery.  His trial didn't take long as the couple just loved him and adopted him the following weekend.  Bishop is now named Henry and has a very stable and loving home.
