Tic is a 6-7 year old female Golden Retriever Cross.  Tic was relinquished to the Animal Shelter as the family had to move into a rental and could only take one dog, Tic's brother.  Tic has been raised with nine children and seems to adore kids.  She has had three litters of puppies in the past but GRRF has spayed her and done a complete Veterinary workup on her to include bloodwork and radiographs.  Tic is in very good health but she had a non cancerous tumor on her hind end the size of a tennis ball.  We had it removed and is was just a fatty tumor.  Tic's has some mild to moderate degree of hip dysplasia but with her weight kept down and kept active she should not require surgery.  Tic likes to be outside as her old family kept her outside most of her life but she loves to be with the family and does very well in the house.  Tic is very well housebroke and has great manners.  She relishes in the bliss of being inside on a comfortable dogbed.    She comes well and listens very well.  Tic is an adoring dog that just smiles at you.  She will shed out most of her thick coat soon and will have more of a lighter weight coat.  She loves to be groomed and have attention.  She gets along well with other dogs but on her terms.  Tic was a mother so many times that she likes to mother other dogs and boss them around. This is a real sweetheart of a dog!
