Wrangler is a dark golden with beautiful red silky wavy hair. He did have a spring hair cut so it is shorter at this time. Our family picked him out when he was a tiny baby. He is gentle and obedient and raised with four children. He is a typical golden in that he needs lots of love and affection. He hates being alone and prefers to be around humans (and George too). He gets along with other dogs and cats, not an aggressive bone in his body except toward bees!
Wrangler's physical health is good for a nine year old. He loves to go for walks and will stay by your side (he is not leash trained) but will always 'come' on command. He can be stubborn but always wants to please.
I have had some life changing experiences over the past year and none of my children are in a position to take Wrangler or George. He deserves a home where he can get attention and have constant companionship. He is great with children and other pets. He and George have forged a great friendship. He literally can put George's head in his mouth and that is how they play. He has had stuffed animals that last forever as he is so gentle with them. He will make a great family pet or someone's constant companion.
George has also been an awesome pet. He is so amazing. He prefers to play all night and come in during the day and vegetate. His litter box is the great outdoors. He loves affection and has the greatest purrrrrr (he drools when being petted). He gets along great with dogs after he shows them who the boss is.
Wrangler and George do great together. It would be nice to see them placed in the same household but they function without each other. Wrangler just needs mucho human attention and George just needs a good home where he can do his thing.
