June 29, 2004: Tucker was returned to GRRF due to a divorce and a move out of state. Originally, five years ago Tucker and his other litter mates were dumped at the Animal Shelter by a man who owned their mother, a golden retriever. The litter's pups had all different colors of golden, black, tan and white (see Tucker's photo). GRRF got Tucker and his sister Tippy and we thought besides the golden retriever, that the lineage includes Australian Shepherd and husky. Tucker was then adopted by the family who just recently reluctantly relinquished him. Tucker has been well trained and well cared for. It was not an easy thing to return him. He lived with children who adored him. After fostering him for only a week, a very sweet lady adopted him. She has an elderly dog named Salcha that looks just like him, only smaller. Salcha and Tucker get along very well and his new owner is so pleased with his wonderful disposition. |
