Thor is a 4 month old Golden Retriever/chow cross. He was hit by a van on Badger Road and was picked up by a very kind Animal Control Officer that took him to the After Hour Pet Emergency Clinic and he received excellent treatment and care for shock. He was very lucky and sustained minor injuries. Back at the Animal Shelter he was still limping and although on pain medication still had an odd gain. GRRF was able to adopt him out and took him to Aurora Animal Clinic and did more extensive radiograph and found two small fractures in his hip. The fractures were healing and in alignment so only a tincture of time will be the cure for Thor. We had a family waiting for a pup just like Thor and they came to foster him, fell in love with him and are adopting him this week. Thor is a very very lucky young boy. His new family has named him Samson for his amazing strength! Contact us at our email, info@grrf.org |
