SPANKY

Spanky is an 11 year old, neutered male, Lab/Border Collie cross.  Spanky was originally a stray and had a bit of a rap sheet from the local animal shelter.  Then a very special man adopted him as his best friend and life was great for Spanky for some time.  Unfortunately, Spanky’s owner passed away with Spanky devotedly by his side.  He ended up back at the Animal shelter and was very upset.  A kindly neighbor got word about Spanky and his owner and adopted Spanky out of respect for his owner’s memory.  He already has a dog and lives south in the winter.  He is working with GRRF to help find Spanky a permanent home of his own.  Spanky is extremely loyal and has had a very complete Veterinary work up done.  He is also in amazing shape and very athletic.  He gets along well with other dogs and knows a few tricks and basic commands.  Spanky is great off leash and loves to keep anyone company.
