    SITKA (SKIPPY)

     Sitka (his new name) is a 1 1/2 year old, neutered male, Golden Retriever /Australian Shep. cross to our best guess.  He was originally found by a couple in Delta 5-6 months ago.  They can not keep him and brought him to GRRF.  Sitka is a very outgoing and happy young gentleman.  He has been around livestock and reportedly loves horses and respects them well.  He is extremely well socialized with other dogs.  Sitka has a gorgeous light blond coat like a golden but with light brindle stripes.  He has an aussie face and is happy all the time.  Sitka had excellent hips and loves to play.  He is learning crate training and basic obedience.  He walks with a "gentle leader" and is very smart to learn new things.  He is a very personable young boy and his joy for life is just contagious!
