SABRINA

4/12/07 Sabrina was returned to GRRF as the family is so busy that they are not giving Sabrina the attention they thought she deserved. It was a very hard decision but she was spending so much time alone. Sabrina went back to her orginal foster home and is just the best little dog. She looks just like a little Golden/Dachshund cross. Sabrina was adopted to a wonderful family with an elderly Golden for a big brother. They can provide her all the attention she could want. They have a little girl with special needs that thinks the sun rises and sets on Sabrina. 12/28/05 Sabrina is the sister to Tiny Tina. She and her other sister Nina came one week after Tina. Their owner is in jail and his dogs were impounded at the Nome Animal Shelter. We still do not know exactly what these cute little girls are but we are sticking with our first guess of a dachshund/retriever cross. Sabrina has longer hair than Tina and Nina. Her sister Nina has ocean blue eyes. We have gotten in quite a few lab/golden retriever crosses from Nome and wonder if one of the littermates didn't breed to a dachshund with dapple coloring to account for the blue eyes on Nina. We just don't know but these girls are the cutest things!!!! Sabrina is very outgoing. All three girls totally boss around the foster parents two adult labs. These girls are quite used to dogs and are very confident despite their previous homes. Nina and Sabrina have been reunited with Tiny Tina and all are so happy to play with one another again. They will stay in their wonderful foster home until they are 8 weeks and then will get spayed and vaccinated and go to their new homes. Contact us at our email, info@grrf.org |
