Rowdy is a Lab/shep. possible husky cross.  He is 1 year old and now neutered.  Rowdy's family moved out of state and some friends were caring for him.  The original family is unable to come back for him and gave permission for the friends to call us to help place him.  Rowdy has been raised well and has been well cared for.  Rowdy gets along very well with other dogs and we suspect he would be fine with cats too.  Rowdy just traveled with his foster family on a trip to Anchorage and was a dream to travel with.  He road in the car well and stayed in a hotel room and has excellent house manners.  Rowdy is anything but his name.  For a young lab he is very calm but playful.  He doesn't jump and is crate trained but almost ready to be trusted out.  Rowdy is only 52 pounds and a nice sized little retriever.  Rowdy may be black, tan and white but we do not think he has any Rottweiler in him.  Rowdy has had his vet check and has very nice hips and is in excellent shape.  Rowdy will make some family a great companion dog with loads to offer.
