 ROSCOE 2

    Roscoe 2 (the second Roscoe for GRRF) is a 7 year old, neutered male, Labrador Retriever/Greyhound cross.  He was relinquished to the animal shelter in Nome due to his owners moving.  Roscoe has been very well cared for and a fabulous and caring volunteer in Nome has been fostering him since Dec.  Roscoe is very good with other animals.  He has been with cats, dogs and horses.  He has very good house manners and has been an inside dog.  Roscoe is tall and elegant.  He has a gentle demeanor and a kind attitude.  He is good loose in the house or in a crate.  He likes to snuggle on the couch and curl up next to you on the bed but if you ask him to get down he does so quickly.  Roscoe has had is vet check done and he is in amazing shape.  Roscoe is athletically built and the perfect weight.  His chest and abdomen x-ray and his blood work were all normal.  His hip x-rayed showed the most perfect set of hips we have seen in a very long time!  Roscoe walks nicely on a leach and rides well in the car.  He whines a little at first and is a little anxious for the first few days but he settles well and so well behaved.  He is a joy to foster.
