Perry

March 3, 2005:  Perry new owner has sadly and reluctantly returned her to GRRF.  He lives in a house with his parents still and his father just does not want a dog in the house and he had to return her. Her old owner is an adult but rents from his parents and cannot afford to move right now.  It was very sad and he took excellent care of Perry but it just wasn't meant to be.  Perry is back with her orginal foster home and doing great.  She seems to have even better manners and still just a dear.  This is a good childrens dog or person that likes a snuggler in the house and a great off leash ball fetcher.  Perry is a super little retriever and needs a forever that can give this little the home she is desperately looking for and desearving of.

Happy ending story: Perry was adopted by one of her old owners coworkers.  He has one other very sweet male dog that loves to have Perry boss him around.  Her new owner has taken her to work so her old owner can visit her and he is a very active young man and loves to play fetch as much as Perry does.

December 3 , 2004: Perry is a yellow lab/golden ret. cross.  She is 6 years old, is spayed, vaccinated, and tattooed. Her hips have been x-rayed and they look very good.  All of her bloodwork is normal too.

Perry was relinquished along with Honey because their owner could no longer keep them in her apartment.  Perry is a very personable dog.  She sulked for days after being left but then bounced back (especially if you throw the ball).  She loves to play ball and with her toys.  Perry likes to follow you around just be near you.  She can stay in a kennel or loose when unattended as long as the garbage is no where near.

Like any good lab, Perry loves to eat so things have to be kept out of reach for her.  This isn't too hard as she is a very small retriever at just 48 pound.  Perry is very adoring like Honey but just a little sillier.  She too is good with other dogs as long as they don't take her favorite ball and she has been around cats and is very good with them.
