 OLIVE

UPDATE!!

2/1/06  Olive is back from an extended trial.  Her potential owner is getting over the heartache of losing his older "perfect" retriever and loved having Olive.  However, he is concerned she will not retrieve or be a duck dog with the pitbull in her.  He really likes her but just is not bonded like he hoped to be.  He has done a wonderful job with Olive and she is nearly housebroke (she is only 12 weeks old) and is very good in her wire kennel with her many toys and blankets.  She has a little jacket for the cold weather too.  Olive is very sweet natured and is very social with other dogs.  Olive is learning how to sit, watch, lay down, stand and heal.  She is very smart and small in stature.   Please know that the Pitbulls we see in town are mostly very sweet and have a friendly personality similar to a lab.  In a loving home Olive should retain her sweet nature and be a fabulous family dog.

1/2/06  Olive is an 8 week old yellow Labrador Retriever cross with possibly Pitbull Terrier.  She was found abandoned in the back of a pickup truck and then taken to the after hours drop off cages at the Animal Shelter.  GRRF adopted her from there.  She is very sweet and so cute!! She looks mostly all Lab just a hint of something else.  She loves to retrieve and like any Lab pup, wants to put anything and everything in her mouth.  Olive is now spayed, tattooed, wormed and vaccinated.  She is doing very good with housetraining and crate training.

Olive is on trial with a gentleman that has been looking for a yellow lab cross and is so excited to take her home.
