  Max is a 5 1/2year old, neutered male, Golden Retriever.  He was relinquished because his family is very busy with children events and coming and going.  Max was spending more and more time alone and they wanted to find him a home with someone who had more time for him.  It was a very difficult decision for them and they fostered him.  They had gotten him from a family when he was 5 months old.  He is Lady and Butch's puppy.  (See Butch and Lady on page 5 of our Happy Endings).  GRRF had just the family in Anchorage who's 8 year old GRRF Golden and recently pasted away three weeks ago from a heart based tumor.  They were devastated and were looking for another big, dark gold, male golden.  Max's family drove to them in Anchorage to meet and he was a big hit.  The family has visitation privileges and everyone has his best interest in mind.  He new family is thrilled with him and their older female golden seems to like him as well.
