MARVIN

12/5/07  Marvin (Marvelous Marvin) as we like to call him, is a 4.4 month old, Lab/Husky cross.  He came from the local Animal Shelter as a stray.   He was thought to belong to a homeless man that could not longer care for him and left him at an apartment building hoping someone would take him in.  Marvin is a beautifully behaved young dog.  He is extremely kind and loving.  At the shelter he came up front to the bars and tried to give us his rawhide bone.  It was very cute and won us over.  Amazingly his time was up and no one had wanted to adopt him.  In fostercare, Marvin was an exceptional pup.  His foster family was tempted to keep him but they enjoy fostering so much and the perfect home came along.  A young couple adopted Marvin (and kept his name). They have another dog almost his same size to play with.  They are very active and love to go to the Dog Park which Marvin loves!! Marvin is now well trained and adores his family and their friends have lots of dogs for Marvin to have play dates with.  He also loves to Skijor with one of his owners and is quite good at it!!
