September 10 , 2004:  Princess is 2 to 3 years of age and is a Golden Retriever-spaniel cross.  She is the mom to Doll Baby and Dolly.  We think she is 'Pink's" sister from last year's group (the 2003 MatSu-9) from this family. 

Princess is shown here before her day at the Spa-so she isn't looking as pretty as she really is.  On Friday, she was spayed, tattooed, x-rayed and groomed to the gills.  Her coat was matted and totally shedding out.  Once all the undercoat was combed out she looks a little bare but she should grow a new, healthy coat in and look gorgeous. 

Princess is very kind and gentle.  She likes to play but has very sweet demeanor about her.  She is very thin and only weighs 31 pounds and should be around 40 pounds.  She is eating well and putting on weight well.  She is recovering from possibly repeated breedings and was just coming into heat again.  She is getting socialized with other dogs and is doing very well.
