LACY

 9/10/09

Lacy is a 9 year young, spayed female, black Labrador Retriever cross.  She was originally adopted from a shelter out of state 6 years ago as a young adult dog.  Her owners have recently relinquished her due to her medical condition of hypothyroidism and their lack of time to devote to her.  She was relinquished to Holy Dog Kennel where she was boarded at and then Roxanne alerted GRRF to her.  Her owner then turned her over to GRRF.  Roxanne at Holy Dog had nothing but the best to say about Lacy and how well adjusted and kind she is.  Roxanne was right on the money.  Lacy is an exceptional dog.  She is beautifully behaved and extremely loving.  She is calm and delightful in the house and easy to walk and go places with outside.  She is fantastic with other animals and is an absolute joy to have around.  Our foster families are fighting over who gets to watch Lacy as she is sooooooo good.  One of her foster families is in the market for a dog and Lacy is fitting the bill perfectly.  We will know next week if Lacy has her forever home with them.

9/25/09 - Lacy has a "forever home". Her foster mom Betsy Smith adopted her and she just adores her.  Betsy and her family feels very lucky to have been blessed with such a dear and obedient dog.  Lacy thyroid condition has been checked out and she is on a very low dose and hopefully soon will be off medication forever.  She is a lovely dog!!
