Kennedy

        Adopted 6-25-2004!

June 29, 2004 update:  Kennedy was adopted by a family with children -- Kennedy adores them all as much as they adore her. Her new family is not entirely new to Kennedy as they are friends with the old family and were happy to adopt her.   They have reported to us that Kennedy is without doubt the best dog in the whole world. They have the blessing and gratitude of the old family.

June 15, 2004:  Kennedy is a 2 year old, spayed female Golden Retriever cross. She was adopted as a puppy from GRRF and returned this week due to a family separation. She has been well taken care of and comes with loads of belongings. Originally GRRF got Kennedy (then Wendy) and her sisters Jasmine and Alice from the animal shelter.  A family had purchased a purebred Golden Retriever from the paper and she came pregnant and had a litter of mixed breed puppies. Jasmine and Kennedy looked a lot like goldens but Alice looked like a lab with hound in her. All had exceptional personalities and temperaments.

Kennedy has been through an obedience class and is a very good 2 yr old retriever. She is playful outside but settles well inside.  She is crate trained (her large wire crate comes with her), she loves to play ball and has been with children, other dogs and lived with cats and she is great with all. Kennedy has all the attributes of a Golden she just has more interesting tints to her coat.
