SPOONS

 

   Spoons is a 8 month old, black lab cross.  He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tattooed and has had his hips x-rayed and they are great.  Spoons originally came from the Animal Shelter at 4 month of age.  A very nice young lady adopted him when he was very sick.  She put a lot of time and money into nursing him and he thrived.  Spoons had another older female lab to play with and adores other dogs.  His owner had to go out of town for her graduate work and plans she had made for Spoons fell through.  She realized that two dogs would be too much out in the field and that he needed more time.  She took exceptional care of Spoons and he is about the calmest and most easy going little lab we have ever had the pleasure of fostering.  He is learning how to be alone and all about kenneling because he still chews a little, especially when alone but getting much better.  He is very well house broke and loves to sleep on the bed!  This would be a great dog for children as he has a soft personality and does not jump up.  He is kind about playing with toys and sharing.  This is a very special little dog.  Spoons only weights 45 pounds and is a great size.
