JILL

11/29/06 Jill and her sister Bristol and mom Lena came from Galena. Jill and Bristol were about 7 weeks old and Lena about two years old Lena had been through a few homes and found herself pregnant and had 10 puppies. All looked golden retriever, (there were some male goldens in the neighborhood). The last owner relinquished her to a rescuer and she sent them to GRRF. A big "Thank You" to Suzette and Frontier Flying Service! Jill was the last to go and after having her in fostercare for even the first day it became apparent that she was not your typical golden pup. Jill was very resourceful and independent. She was a very busy pup that could get into trouble easily. We looked for a home that could challenge her mind as well as her body. After going through and answering numerous calls regarding Jill we selected a couple from the Matsu area that belong to a Search and Rescue group and were looking for a young golden to train and have as family member as well. They drove just to see and meet Jill and she was a big hit. At 10 weeks, Jill already knew how to sit, shake, down, stand, come and speak on command. She was extremely bright pup!!! The couple even called on Christmas to let me (her overly protective fostermom) know that she is doing great and they adore her. They say she is like a stick of "dynamite" so her new name will be Dyna. I that fits just fine! Contact us at our email, info@grrf.org
