    Jake is an 8 month old neutered male, purebred chocolate labrador retriever.  He is coming tomorrow from Ft. Yukon.  His very sad owner is flying with him to Fairbanks to hand deliver him to GRRF.  Jake is a very well cared for, well trained and well loved dog.  His owner has had a big change in his life and must move and can only take the two older labs with.  He is very concerned about Jake and wants the best home available for this special and handsome boy.  Jake will receive his vet check, neuter, tattoo and have his hips x-rayed.  We will post an update Thurs.  Jake would make a wonderful addition for a very lucky home.

    Jake has had his vet. workup done and he is in great shape.  He is now tattooed and has had his hip x-rayed and they look very good at this time with no signs of hip dysplasia or osteo arthritis.  He is a very kind and calm lab.  He loves to play fetch though and just lights up for a game.  He has very good doggie social skills too.  Jake is going on trial with a wonderful family that had adopted an adult chocolate lab from us years ago and has been looking for a younger boy just like him.
