Holly

Adopted February 29, 2004

Holly is a three year old Lab, golden, husky cross. She was relinquished due to a move and Holly was kept outside at the old house and the couple was going back and forth every day to tend to the dogs. They unfortunately did not notice that Holly had a severe ear infection and she had an aural hematoma. That is when a dog shakes their head so bad that the blood vessel burst in their ear flap and it swells tremendously. Holly's went undetected and started to set like cement.  She was in great discomfort but is so incredibly good natured that she never fussed a bit. We have had surgery done on her ear and she is healing very well.

Holly's foster mom states that she is about the most appreciative dog she has ever seen.  She is very good in the house and adores dog beds and the comforts of being inside.  Holly now has her sutures out and her bandages off and is ready to go. She likes to chase cats so a non-cat household would be best. Otherwise Holly adores other dogs and all people. She knows basic obedience commands and is very patient with anything you do to her. Holly needs a home where she can be inside and snuggle with a loving family that will appreciate what a dear creature she is.
