   GUS 3

   Gus is a 14 week old black lab cross puppy.  Mom was a lab and dad was a english setter cross. He and his brothers came from the Animal Shelter when they were 5 weeks old.  GRRF placed them with a special foster family that is wonderful with puppies.  They raised these boys very well and they have three very social young adult dogs that have shown them the ropes of doggie socializing during the every so important time period from 5-8 weeks. 

Gus did go out on trial but came back as one of the children in the family developed an allergy to him.  Gus has been through puppy class and knows all the basics and is extremely smart.  He is crate trained, almost completely housebroken and a very social young gentleman.  His foster family cannot say enough wonderful things about him.  If they didn't already have three dogs they would love to keep him but fostering is very important to them and they know the right deserving family is out there for Gus.
