June 12, 2004:  Gus is a 4 to 5 year old Golden/lab/ something cross.  He has been returned to GRRF as his owners moved suddenly and could not take him. GRRF originally got Gus from the shelter as a two year-old. Gus is very good with other dogs and gets along well with cats. He has been with children of all ages and is very loving and calm around them, including very small children. He is a great family dog and has so much personality and a very happy demeanor. Gus needs a family with which he can live a long happy life and grow old with. 

He is a charmer!! Gus is neutered, vaccinated, tattooed and has had his hip x-rayed.  He is in very good health except that he has temporarily lost his lean physic.  He could stand to loose about 10 pounds.
