March 12, 2004:  Grant is a 10 month old Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever cross. He was relinquished to the animal shelter because the family did not have enough time for him and they had no fenced yard and he wandered off from time to time. His old owner did leave a very long note about the good things about Grant. He is now neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tattooed and his hips have been x-rayed and they look great. Grant is very good with other pets and children. However he is a big puppy and can knock down small children by accident.
