   Ginger 4 was relinquished by her owner due to a divorce situation.  Ginger is 4 1/2 years old and spayed.  We recognized the line she comes from it was confirmed by her owner where they got her.  We were quick to radiograph her as GRRF has had many dogs come into GRRF from this breeder and all have had some degree of hip dysplasia.  Ginger was no different.  She comes from one of the first litters this breeder bred and she is the third one from this litter relinquished to GRRF.  Gingers hips have some degree of arthritis but she should be lucky enough to never need surgery unlike her brother Treger and sister Osa which had TPO surgeries done at about $2200 a hip.  As she ages though, Ginger may need a lifetime of medications to keep her comfortable.  This breeder has bred at least 6 litters that we know of.  However, like all the others from this breeder that we have seen they all have extremely sweet and docile personalities.  Ginger is and kind and gentle of a dog anyone could ask for.  She is a very large golden and a little longer that she is tall.  She has a very luxurious coat and loves attention. 

5/9/05  Ginger went to Pets and People Day and meant her new owner.  Ginger went on trial and was adopted to a very gentle and active lady.  They are a perfect match for each other.  Gingers new owner is going to pursue joining Companions Inc. and make Ginger a therapy dog.  She would be fantastic at this.
