GAUGE

 6/20/07  Gauge is a 1 1/2 year, purebred black Labrador Retriever.  Gauge was found as a stray and taken to the local Animal Shelter and his old owner was notified.  He stayed three weeks and was even Pet of the Week and still no one came for him or adopted him.  This baffles us at GRRF and the Animal Tenders at the shelter as Gauge is one of the most well behaved young Labs we have seen in a while.  He knows sit, down, stay and heels pretty good.  He has learned to swim and is very good retriever and gentle.  Gauge gets along very well with other animals and is extremely good about not jumping up folks. He is a smaller Lab at 55 pounds.  He still has some filling out to do but he is a very handsome Lab.  He hips have been x-rayed and they are very nice.  Gauge is very good in the house and is completely housebroken.  This is an extremely nice dog!!!!
