EMMIE

   Emmie is a 4 1/2 month old Lab/Golden/husky cross.  She was found abandoned in a snowbank two weeks ago.  The folks who found her were thinking of keeping her but then turned her over to the local Animal Shelter were she stayed as a stray.  She was very thin and scared.  The Animal Tenders and volunteers really took great care of Emmie and she gained weight and her personality blossomed.  GRRF was able to adopt her when no one from the public came to adopt her after her stray time.  Emmie was given a full Vet exam to include bloodwork that was all normal.  She is gaining weight well, was spayed and her rear dewclaws were removed.  ( See her pink bandages)  Emmie is being fostered by a great dog lover and trainer from the Kennel Club.  She saw Emmie at the shelter and offered to foster.  Thanks Shonda!  Emmie is quite a character and full of personality.  She is very loving and is learning things very quickly.  She is crate trained and doing very well in the housebreaking department.  Sweet pup!!
