DEWEY 2

 5/14/06 Dewey is a 2 1/2 yr old, neutered male, purebred black Labrador Retriever. Dewey is from the Wetland Retriever Lab Rescue in Wasilla/Palmer area.  They, sadly are closing their rescue due to a move to the lower 48.  GRRF took in Dewey and Misty the dogs they have had the longest.  Dewey was found in the Palmer area as a stray found in a ditch when he was eight months of age.  He was very shy and nervous and the finders turned him over to the Wetland Lab Rescue.  They have had Dewey for two years. He kept getting looked over for adoption because of his shy nature and he has an extreme overbite but it does not cause him any problems, he eats fine and you really don't notice it unless you look and lift up his lips. Because of Dewey's shy demeanor he had more house privileges in rescue and therefore in GRRF fostercare Dewey is showing to be very well behaved in the house and gets along fabulously with other dogs and cats.  Dewey is a very kind, gentle and well mannered young gentleman that with a patient and loving home will blossom into an amazing family member.   If you are interested please email us at info@grrf.org
