            CODY 4

7/19/07 Cody (the 4th dog named Cody we've had) is a purebred yellow Labrador Retriever.  Cody was a stray that the local Animal Shelter got a call on that was being attacked by a pitbull and good samaritans chased off with their car.  Animal Control took Cody to a near by Veterinary Clinic for treatment to his hind leg for bite wounds.  Cody's owner was notified and he did not want to pay the impoundment fee or Vet. bill.  Cody stayed his stray time and they shelter called GRRF about Cody.  Cody is 6 years old and when we tried to take these pictures he showed us all the tricks he knew in his repertoire.  He can sit, shake with both paws, give high five, and roll over.  Cody had another veterinary check up done to include bloodwork and radiographs which were all normal.  Cody was also neutered, tattooed and microchipped. His wounds have all healed and he is doing great.  In fostercare, Cody is the best dog.  He has no ill will towards other friendly dogs at all.  He is a very kind and extremely well behaved dog.

Cody was adopted to a very nice family with a 16 yr old son that is Cody's best buddy and a 1yr old little girl that Cody is very loving and patient towards.  We are all still learning all the things Cody knows and how smart he it. We just learned he can go to his leash on the wall and grab it when he wants to go out.  Very smart and amazing dog!!!
