CODY- Adopted July 27, 2004

July 11, 2004: Cody (Frank) was one of the Metlakatla puppies from last Christmas. He was returned because he likes to chase the family cats, hold them down and gently chew on them.  Apparently the cats and the wife are not happy about this. Cody is half Golden Retriever and half yellow Lab (his mom was Lucy). He is really a very kind youngster that has no bad intentions. He truly loves everything and is very good with children.  He has been taught some very good manners for his age and Cody is a wonderful retriever. He brings right to hand and then sits. He is active but very sensitive.  He is only 48 pounds and a nice little retriever. He has been neutered since he was a pup, his vaccines are up to date, he is tattooed and now his hips have been x-rayed. Cody is crate trained and very well housebroke and lives to please. We have all been extremely pleased with the puppies from this litter. We have seen most all of his littermates in the past few months and all are doing very well.  One of the families that adopted his brother is fostering him.
A new family should plan on being willing to work with Cody on appropriate feline relationships and we think he would be fine.
