Coal is a very handsome black Labrador retriever that is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. He is an amazing retriever and a fantastic swimmer. He adores people and is very good with small children. He gets along very well with other dogs and cats too. Coal is very good off leash. He knows basic commands and loves to ride in the car. He has been camping and swimming with one of his foster mom's and he loves the great outdoors but is also very well behaved in the house.  He has a big bark to alert strangers but once in they are at risk of being licked to death. Coal has loads to offer but really needs the company of people or other dogs during the day. His foster mom works but leaves him with her two dogs and he is very comfortable. If left all to himself all day he drools and get anxious. He is a social butterfly and just needs some type of company. If you are looking for a constant companion or a playmate for your dog, Coal maybe just right for you. He is neutered, vaccinated, tattooed and has had his hips x-rayed and they look great. He is a very athletic boy and did I mention he loves to RETRIEVE!
