Cedar is a return to GRRF from last fall. Cedar is a 2yr old, spayed female, Golden Retriever. She had been through three homes when GRRF got her at 9 months. She was very active but not too much and seemed like a pretty normal golden to us. We adopted her to a very loving family that had done wonders with another Golden they had adopted from us, Lucky. This family ran into the same as Max 2 family. They have three children with loads of sports and activities to go to and Cedar wasn't getting the attention or exercise she needed. Lucky is now an older and more calm dog. Cedar still chews and was spending most of the day in her crate and the family wanted her to go to a family that had more time to exercise her and her mind. A very nice family from Tok that has someone home all the time and older children too came to meet her and her family. Everyone loved Cedar and she went on trial to Tok. She is started in obedience classes and soon may start agility! Cedar has another golden to play with too and lots of trails to explore with the family on their daily walks. The new family will keep in touch with the old one as it was a very difficult decision for them and they miss Cedar very much but are so happy for all the attention she now gets.
