"BLASTER/BAXTER"

     Blaster which is now called "Baxter" is a 1 1/2 yr old neuter male, Springer Spaniel and Labrador cross.  His mom was a purebred Springer Spaniel and the dad a mystery except that some of the puppies looked all lab and some like Baxter.  Baxter's owner got him from an ad in the newspaper and has had him since he was a pup.  He is joining one of the Services and will be traveling for the next year.  He did a great job raising Baxter as he has some good manners and is very good with children, cats and other dogs.  Baxter is now neutered, his hips x-rayed and his vet check is all good.  This is a very personable mid-sized (only 38 pounds) young man with loads of personality.  He is a great retriever and very playful but then settles well in the house.  He is crate trained and loves to chew toys so only the heavy duty ones seem to be Baxter proof.  Must be the lab in him!  He is good to only chew his toys but anything soft will soon be history.
