April 29, 2004: Athena found her forever home here in Fairbanks with a family who had recently lost a long and emotional battle with cancer with their senior golden. They had lots of questions and knew what they were looking for in a dog but had a lot of emotions to deal with from each family member. Athena warmed everyone's heart and wormed her way right in. She is so young but so calm and loving that she filled the home with her warmth and they are very grateful to have found her. We are very grateful that this special girl has a home like them!

April 7, 2004: Athena got a vet check done on Tuesday.  She is 6-7 months old and looks just like a golden with floppier ears. Maybe a little husky but very much golden.
